Erkundung im Reich des Erwachenden Drachens
Beschreibung
"Indochina, my love" - Vietnam entices with unique natural wonders, colonial history, and modern development. Join us on this diverse cultural hiking trip to experience dreamy bays, bustling cities, and the green highlands. The journey begins in Hanoi - French colonial style, idyllic rivers, and Far Eastern temples give the city its flair. Day hikes in the north take us through rainforests and rice fields. By boat, bicycle, and on foot, we explore the country, visit famous and hidden sanctuaries, and enjoy the advantages of Vietnamese cuisine. Our mountain hiking guide provides deep insight into the traditional way of life of various ethnic groups. Highlights include days on a junk boat in the enchanted island world of Halong Bay, the "Forbidden City" in the old imperial residence of Hue, and My Son with the temple complexes of the Cham Empire. Finally, the world-famous Karst cave Paradise Cave with impressive stalagmites adds the finishing touch to the journey. With walking times of up to six hours, the hikes are moderate. The floating gardens in the estuary of the Mekong, the magic of old Saigon, and perhaps the best cuisine in Asia make saying goodbye difficult.
